Moonshiner
2018
Still in copper
with silver solderings,

The term "moonshiner" refers to
the illegal alcohol distillers
repressed during the prohibition
in USA.

These craftmen mostly came from the Irish immigration and took with them the art of Whiskey distellery.

Still chase down nowadays, the monshiners must use twice as much imagination in order to avoid being caught by the authorities.

Inspired by the moonshiner's movement, this still can be dismantled in three parts: the column (with the cooling pipe), the tank and the feet for an easier transportation and stealth.

The two joints visible on the cooling pipe allow the flowing of cold water,
it's fitting universal garden hose.
